People Operations Coordinator

Olo is seeking an ambitious and energetic People Operations Coordinator to join the Olo team in New York City; an office manager extraordinaire. Ideal candidates are excited to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and team-oriented environment. If you consider yourself to be super social, detail-oriented, and reliable, this position is for you! Logical candidates would have interest in HR and operations roles at tech companies. 

This is a full-time position in our New York City office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be the excitability and face of Olo in NYC.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly office, creating a happy and productive environment.
  • Handle all matters surrounding our facilities. Proactively seek out the most effective, cost-efficient vendors for numerous services.
  • Ensure internal and external first impressions of Olo are always positive.
  • Coordinate team events - lunches, happy hours, and other team-building activities.
  • Assist with on-boarding new employees.
  • Coordinate logistics for all external marketing and sales conferences.
  • Special projects for the People + Culture and Executive teams.


 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1-2 years experience as an office manager or executive assistant
  • High energy, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative and work without supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A "can-do" approach to everything -- you'll be expected to make magic happen!
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and a whiz at using Google Docs
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, while maintaining robust organizational and problem solving skills
  • Solutions-driven and ‘get-it-done’ mentality
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment
  • Must be local to NYC
