The Senior UX Designer will be a key member of the Product Team at Olo. You will be expected to work closely with our product managers, and developers to solve interface problems by producing functional high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes. UX is a small team and you will be responsible for mentoring and collaborating with other UX Designers on the team. This role reports to the VP of Product.
Responsibilities and Duties
5 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, or product designer
Experience developing UX artifacts including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, flows, and information architecture
Research, design and prototype new user experiences based on product requirements
Develop interactive prototypes (we use Marvel, Invision)
Drive the development and communication of clear design guidelines, patterns, libraries, and assets; work closely with the team to implement the vision (we use Zeplin)
Validate designs through research, including usability best practices, analytics, and direct interaction with customers, product managers and Client Success
Ability to prioritize different design problems by understanding their significance and impact on our overall ecosystem
Experience working with software developers
Capable of translating designs across all devices and screen sizes
Coach, mentor and inspire the less experienced members of your team
This is a full-time role in our NY Office.
